Hwang Jung-eum Reveals Living with Cockroaches and Rats in New House

Actress Hwang Jung-eum revealed on her YouTube channel on the 10th that she is living with cockroaches, rats, and flies in her newly moved-in detached house.

Hwang Jung-eum invited the production team to her new home. During filming, when a fly flew by, the crew asked, “Why are there so many bugs in this house?” to which Hwang Jung-eum replied, “I have caught over 300 cockroaches alone.”

As if to prove her words, when a cockroach appeared, Hwang Jung-eum quickly grabbed insect repellent and caught it with skillful hands.

She sighed, saying, “I set out medicine and do various types of pest control, but they keep coming out. They told me detached houses are originally like this. There are also too many mosquitoes and flies.”

She continued, “There are also rats in the basement. I actually saw one. I don't usually scream often, but when I saw the rat, I found myself screaming ‘Ugh!’ I have now become an ‘actress who embraces rats,’” explaining that while she was startled at first, she is now used to it and no longer screams.

During filming, when a sound was heard from above the ceiling, the crew asked, “Isn't that the sound of a rat?” and Hwang Jung-eum responded with confusion, “That's right. But it doesn't usually happen often. Why is it like this today?”
