Jeon Won-joo's Daughter-in-law Helps with Grandchild 3 Days a Week: 'Her Blood is Definitely Stingy'

Actress Jeon Won-joo's daughter-in-law shared her current life of 'twilight childcare' through YouTube.
Mentioning the great-grandchild born to her eldest granddaughter, Jeon Won-joo expressed her feelings about becoming a great-grandmother. She appeared somewhat drained, saying, "I'm not a grandmother, I'm a great-grandmother. I should be happy, but honestly, I think, 'I guess it's almost time for me to die.'" Her daughter-in-law encouraged her, asking, "How can you say such a thing?"
The two began making dolls for the grandchildren. While sewing, the production team asked the daughter-in-law, "What kind of grandmother is your mother-in-law (Jeon Won-joo)?"
The daughter-in-law replied, "Like people from her generation, her heart isn't actually like that, but she tends to be stingy with her expressions. However, she expresses herself unreservedly to her granddaughters. She gives a lot of praise, saying things like 'You did well' or 'You're pretty,' and the children really love her."
The daughter-in-law revealed that she looks after the grandchildren three days a week to help with her own daughter's childcare. She shared the hardships of twilight childcare, saying, "The baby is pretty, but it's so exhausting."
When the production team asked, "Does your daughter give you pocket money?" the daughter-in-law laughed and said, "She gave me an envelope. When I opened it, there was 200,000 won inside."
She continued, "My friends say they receive 1 million won as pocket money. I thought the kids must be struggling too, so I opened the envelope and saw it was 200,000 won. So, I am saving it now and told her to give it to me later when the kids are grown and we have more leeway, so I returned it. I don't take it now."
While Jeon Won-joo is known to hold 3 billion won worth of stocks and an apartment in Cheongdam-dong, she has shown a 'stingy' side by saving money on various broadcasts. The daughter-in-law admitted, "Her blood is definitely stingy," and the production team agreed, saying, "That's the granddaughter of that grandmother."
