Actress Jeon Won-joo has revealed a will she wrote ahead of hip surgery, conveying her sincere feelings toward her family.
In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Jeon Won-joo_Jeon Won-joo In-gong' on the 7th, Jeon is seen tidying up her home with her family.
While organizing the master bedroom, Jeon joked, "You shouldn't organize the master bedroom. It has many secrets. There are documents and money here." In response, the production team drew laughter by suggesting they clean the master bedroom, noting that 300L of trash had already been collected just from cleaning the living room.
When her daughter-in-law praised her clothes while organizing them, Jeon reminisced, "I have almost no clothes I bought myself. I used to put a sign in the talent room saying 'Small clothes for Jeon Won-joo,' and my juniors would take them."
During the cleaning, several envelopes of money and a handwritten letter were discovered under the bed covers. Upon seeing this, Jeon surprised everyone by revealing, "This is the will I wrote while crying when I was sick."
The will contained her apologies and love for her family. Jeon wrote, "We have walked together through both joy and sorrow. What use is it for me to regret now that I have been exceptionally harsh with my words? I only hope those words become the foundation for your lives," along with the request, "We all come with empty hands and leave with empty hands. Live happily."
Jeon explained that she wrote the will to prepare for any unforeseen circumstances ahead of her hip surgery. She stated, "I wrote this after hearing that I couldn't guarantee the outcome of the surgery," and her daughter-in-law ultimately broke into tears while reading it.
Jeon is also well known for her successful financial investments. Through various broadcasts, she has revealed owning approximately 3 billion won worth of stocks and 1 billion won worth of gold, and is also known to hold real estate assets such as commercial buildings in Sinchon, Seoul, and an apartment in Cheongdam-dong. In particular, she garnered attention when it was revealed that her SK Hynix shares had risen by more than 600%.
However, the will revealed in this video contains messages of affection for her family and does not include any mention of asset distribution or inheritance plans. Therefore, the recipients of her assets, such as stocks or real estate, have not been disclosed.
