Jung Kyung-ho and Choi Soo-young End Long-term Relationship; Jung's 'Personal' Left-hand Ring Mentioned
Following news of Jung Kyung-ho and former Girls' Generation member Choi Soo-young ending their 14-year relationship, fans recall past episodes regarding Jung's ring.
Following news that actress Choi Soo-young, formerly of the girl group Girls' Generation, and actor Jung Kyung-ho have ended their 14-year public relationship, past episodes are being resurfaced, including mentions of Jung Kyung-ho's ring.

The two are alumni of Chung-Ang University's Department of Theater and Film; after forming a connection through church, they became lovers in 2012 and officially acknowledged their relationship in 2014. Since then, they were noted as one of the entertainment industry's representative long-term couples, showing enough affection to be recognized as a prospective married couple who essentially only needed to set a wedding date.
As such, the two had naturally mentioned one another in official settings, such as on broadcasts, to express their affection.
In a video from the YouTube channel 'Now Baek Ji-yeon' released last April, Jung Kyung-ho drew attention with a ring worn on the fourth finger of his left hand. Baek Ji-yeon asked Jung Kyung-ho, "Is that the ring you wore during your cameo appearance in 'Someday Wise Resident'?"
Jung Kyung-ho, appearing somewhat flustered, took a sip of water and replied, "No. This is a personal ring." At this, subscribers immediately thought of his partner, Choi Soo-young.
There is also another ring anecdote. While conversing with Choi Soo-jin, Choi Soo-young's older sister, on the Channel A entertainment program 'Recent Men's Life - Groom Class,' broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon mentioned Jung Kyung-ho and Choi Soo-jin.
Hong Seok-cheon said, "Are Choi Soo-young and Jung Kyung-ho doing well? They always come to our shop and give ring gifts and things like that," and Choi Soo-jin replied, "They are doing very well. The two of them exchange many gifts. They have been dating for 12 years already. Even when there are things that could cause anger, they don't get angry and seem to have a really good relationship."
