Jung Kyung-ho's 'Useless Talk' Remark Re-emerges Amid Breakup News with Choi Soo-young

As news broke that actress Choi Soo-young, formerly of the girl group Girls' Generation, and actor Jung Kyung-ho have ended their 14-year relationship, Jung Kyung-ho's remarks from last year are being re-examined.

Last December, Jung Kyung-ho attended the production announcement ceremony for the tvN drama 'Pro Bono,' where a question arose that seemed to touch upon the possibility of his marriage to Choi Soo-young.

Park Kyung Lim, who served as the MC, kept in mind that Jung Kyung-ho played a character who attracts controversy in 'Pro Bono' and asked, "Is there any news to announce?" to which Jung Kyung-ho firmly replied, "There is none."

Director Kim Seong-yoon continued to press regarding Choi Soo-young, saying, "At least tell us the date," and Jung Kyung-ho, appearing flustered, drew a firm line by saying, "What date? Stop talking about useless things."

The joke took a somewhat serious turn, but Park Kyung Lim managed the atmosphere by clarifying, "He meant the premiere date of the drama."
