Kim Hye-soo looked back on three decades of friendship and collaboration with makeup director Song Jong-hee while sharing exhibition photos.
Actor Kim Hye-soo has shared a glimpse into her long-running friendship with makeup director Song Jong-hee, reflecting on the 30 years the two have spent alongside one another.

On June 22, Kim Hye-soo posted exhibition photos on her own account, recalling the time she has shared with Song Jong-hee over the past three decades. The post drew attention because it highlighted not only a personal friendship, but also a creative relationship that has continued through major film projects.
In the photos, Kim Hye-soo appeared with smoky eye makeup reminiscent of a once-popular style, full lip makeup, and a hippie-perm hairstyle. The styling emphasized the kind of bold visual presence that has long been associated with her screen image.
Kim Hye-soo and makeup director Song Jong-hee are described as very close friends who have worked together on films including “Chinatown” and “Goodbye Single.” Their connection has therefore been built through both private affection and repeated professional collaboration.
Born in 1970, Kim Hye-soo made her debut in 1985 through a Milo commercial. She went on to stand out as one of Korea’s leading actresses through appearances in films such as “Kick the Moon,” “The Thieves,” “The Face Reader,” and “Smugglers.”
Kim Hye-soo is also set to appear in Coupang Play’s “This Is Not About the Affair,” scheduled for release in the second half of this year. The series is a black comedy about escalating chain collisions between a popular influencer couple who have sold the image of a happy family and a neighboring doctor couple caught in a messy divorce lawsuit, as they become entangled in an uncontrollable secret that makes even an affair seem trivial.
In the series, Kim Hye-soo plays Kyung-hee, the CEO of an interior design company and a popular influencer who is hungry for major success.
