Lee Da-hae, 18 weeks pregnant, prepares baby gear in Korea and China

Actress Lee Da-hae has shared updates on her preparations for motherhood, revealing that she is currently setting up childcare environments in both Korea and China. During the broadcast of the SBS entertainment program 'My Little Old Boy' on the 19th, Lee, who recently announced her pregnancy, appeared as a guest to candidly discuss her daily life as an expectant mother and her preparations for childbirth.

Appearing in the studio in a relaxed silhouette dress, Lee received congratulations from the cast. Revealing that she is currently 18 weeks pregnant, she could not hide her excitement, stating, "The fetal nickname is 'Heaven.' I am pregnant with a daughter."

She continued, "My husband and I had discussed before that if we had a daughter, we would name her 'Ellie,' and a daughter has actually come to us," though she added, "We haven't decided on the final name yet." In sharing her nickname and birth plans, the anticipation and careful planning typical of expectant parents were clearly evident.

The broadcast also touched upon the practical concerns of preparing for a new baby.

MC Shin Dong Yup asked Lee, who previously drew attention by revealing her home in Shanghai, "Don't you also need to prepare baby supplies for your Shanghai home?"

Lee replied, "That's why I'm really busy setting up childcare supplies in both houses, in Korea and China."

She candidly shared the trial and error experienced by novice parents, saying, "I really didn't know there would be this many childcare supplies. At first, I wondered, 'Do we really need this much?' but as I actually prepared them, I realized every single one is a necessary item."

Han Hye Jin's mother offered words of blessing, saying, "People often say that the time when the baby is in the womb is the most comfortable period," to which Lee responded with a laugh, "People around me also say that the real beginning is when the baby is born," bringing laughter to the studio.
