Lee Min-jung opened up about her family history while explaining why she chose the SBS drama 'Please Come Back, Mister' ten years ago.

'Please Come Back, Mister', starring Rain and Lee Min-jung, is a drama that depicts a man and a woman who experience a brief reincarnation, allowing the deceased to live out the lives they couldn't finish even for a short time.

Regarding her reason for choosing this work, Lee Min-jung cautiously opened up, saying, "I thought it would be fun, plus there was a personal matter." She revealed, "A cousin I loved very much passed away to heaven two years prior to that time, leaving behind a baby. But the situation was so similar to the drama. Since he went to heaven leaving a baby behind, wasn't there a part of me that desperately wanted to meet him again?"

She continued, "In the drama, the male protagonist suddenly goes to heaven leaving a child behind, and the story is about him being reincarnated into a new body and hovering around his family. That is why it felt even more touching to me."
