Lee Si-young to spend a month in Canada with her son

Actress Lee Si-young has announced plans to spend a month living in Canada with her son. Ahead of her departure, she expressed her pride by revealing a "Canada Book" her son created himself, organizing their travel plans through English and drawings, while sharing her anticipation for the educational and cultural experiences awaiting them in a new environment.

On the 17th, Lee posted a video on her social media (SNS), writing, "We are preparing for a month-long stay in Canada, and although I never asked him to do this or gave him any special instructions, he made this 'Canada Book' all by himself and showed it to me. I-an always surprises and touches my heart. Since we are looking forward to it so much, we will have a great trip."

The video features the "Canada Book" produced by her son. The notebook contains heartfelt drawings and English sentences themed around Canada, with various travel information organized from a child's perspective. Lee introduced her son's work while flipping through the pages, smiling warmly at his unexpected level of preparation.

In particular, the way he used English expressions to structure the travel plan captured the attention of fans, vividly showing the excitement and curiosity of a child preparing for life abroad.

In truth, the person most eagerly awaiting the trip was Lee herself. She shared the busy preparation process by revealing her home filled with luggage for the journey.

Lee added, "I also plan to personally pick up a 2026 model Super Glide Harley in Canada, which is hard to find in Korea," revealing her passion for motorcycles. As an avid rider, she expressed her excitement for her new daily life, stating her intention to continue her biking lifestyle even abroad.

Recently, "living for a month" has become a lifestyle trend that goes beyond simple travel, serving as a way to acquire language skills, experience new cultures, and build family bonds. In particular, living abroad for a set period with children to experience local culture is spreading as a family trend due to increasing interest in global education.

Lee is expected to build special memories by experiencing this new environment alongside her son during their stay in Canada.

Meanwhile, Lee divorced her former husband, who worked in the food service industry, last March after eight years of marriage. She also drew significant public attention when she revealed that she gave birth to her second child last November via embryo transfer.

Additionally, her eldest son is known to attend Chadwick International School in Songdo, Incheon. The school is considered one of Korea's premier international schools, with total tuition costs estimated to exceed 600 million won for the full curriculum from kindergarten through high school.
