Moon Chae-won Reveals Why She Has Few Celebrity Friends Ahead of June Wedding

Actress Moon Chae-won revealed the home she lives in alone through a YouTube channel on the 21st.

Moon Chae-won introduced her home, saying, "The house is cozy. This is it. Since there are four [items/people], it's full."

The living room is decorated with cozy interiors, including a fabric sofa, a glass table, and subtle lighting. Regarding a framed picture on the wall, she explained the process: "It's a nude photo, but thankfully it's from the back. If it were from the front, I don't think I would have bought it. It looks like a Barbie doll was placed on an actual beach for the photo. I bought two pieces after traveling to the US because I liked them, and then I had them framed after returning to Korea."

She continued by sharing her simple daily life, saying, "When I come home, I first change into comfortable clothes. I don't usually wear a cardigan like this." In response to a PD's question, "Has anyone visited your house recently? There is something I want to hear," she laughed and replied, "Yes, there has."

She also introduced a unique painting drawn by her mother. Having majored in oil painting, she proudly shared, "I briefly taught my mother how to paint oils, and this was her first time painting alone. I liked it so much that I wrote my mom's name on it and made it into a framed piece."

When the PD hit a nerve by asking, "Is there a celebrity you usually want to get closer to? Don't you not have many celebrity friends?" Moon Chae-won revealed the reason for having few celebrity friends, saying, "I want to become close with Kian84 and Hwang Je-sung. I attended art school and intended to pursue a career in that field. But as I suddenly changed my path to become an actress, everything became a first for me. I think I used to flinch whenever someone approached me."

Moon Chae-won will hold a wedding ceremony with her non-celebrity partner this coming June.
