Hwang Je-sung's stone wall collapses during argument in Jeju

Comedian Hwang Je-sung brought laughter to the studio by sharing a ridiculous incident where a stone wall collapsed during an argument with his wife while traveling on Jeju Island.

In the 540th episode of the JTBC variety show 'Knowing Bros' aired on the 15th, Hwang, along with Nam Ho-yeon, Im Woo-il, and Kwak Beom, appeared to share various anecdotes.

During the broadcast, Hwang recalled a dizzying incident that occurred during a marital spat while visiting Jeju Island with his wife. He explained that what started as an ordinary argument escalated uncontrollably due to an unexpected stone wall collapse.

According to Hwang, he was sitting down at the time while his wife was pacing around. While the two were talking, the moment his wife inadvertently leaned against the stone wall, the wall collapsed entirely. As his wife also fell over with the wall, the scene instantly turned into chaos.

Following the unexpected accident at the travel destination, Hwang and his wife immediately worked to resolve the situation. They had to repair the collapsed stone wall alongside local staff.

Hwang recalled, "I thought the matter was settled, so we restored the stone wall to its original state and were about to leave the spot." However, the absurd situation began again just as the couple was attempting to depart.

Someone called out to the couple from behind, and it turned out a different couple was using that very stone wall as a backdrop for photos. The problem was that the woman posing for the photos, completely unaware of the previous accident, leaned against the stone wall.

In the end, the stone wall collapsed once again, and the woman also fell over with the wall. Having already repaired the wall once, Hwang and his wife had no choice but to return to the scene.

Ultimately, a rare sight unfolded as the two couples—four people in total—joined forces to rebuild the collapsed stone wall. Recalling the situation, Hwang said, "In the end, the four of us built the wall together," turning the studio into a sea of laughter.

What began as a stone wall collapse triggered by a marital argument led to a "joint recovery operation" that even pulled in an unrelated couple of tourists. Although it was a ridiculous accident that no one could have predicted during an ordinary trip to Jeju Island, it has remained a special memory for Hwang that he can now share with a laugh.
