Oh Jung-se Recalls Script Trap: 'I Thought I Was a Psychopath'
Actor Oh Jung-se shares a hilarious behind-the-scenes story about the era of unscripted 'side scripts' and a shocking acting mishap on a drama set.
Actor Oh Jung-se revealed a 'funny yet sad' behind-the-scenes story from the past when the era of 'side scripts' (unprepared scripts) was rampant.

On the 23rd, Kang Dong-won, Park Ji-hyun, Oh Jung-se, and Shin Ha-kyun appeared as guests on the video 'Group Project is Just an Excuse' from the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun.
The actors reminisced about the difficulties faced on set during the days when they filmed using side scripts. Oh Jung-se recalled, "We had to act only after the script arrived, without knowing the preceding or following situations," noting that before the current pre-production system was established, there were times when they had to wait endlessly on set for scripts.
He shared that in one drama, during a phone call sequence with a younger brother, he delivered a natural performance by saying, "Hello. It's me, I'll be there soon," without knowing the other person's circumstances, and thought he had performed well without being exaggerated.
However, he was horrified after watching the broadcast. This was because the line being spoken by the person on the other end of the phone was, "Hyung, Father passed away." Regarding the fact that he had responded with an everyday tone of "Yeah, I'll be there soon" even after hearing that his father had died, Oh Jung-se sighed and said, "I thought I was a psychopath."
