During the SBS DRAMA: NEXT EPISODE media day held on the morning of the 1st at Hotel Naru Seoul - MGallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Hong Seong-chang, CEO of Studio S, stated, "Actress Park Shin Hye, who is currently pregnant, will return next year with 'The Judge from Hell' Season 2."
SBS introduced new dramas to be broadcast in the second half of this year and the first half of next year. In the second half of this year, 'Manager Kim', 'Chaebol Detective 2', 'Dr. X', 'Good Partner 2', and '9 to 6' will air, while in the first half of next year, 'Awakening', 'It's Possible', 'Nightmare', and 'Full Count' are scheduled.
In particular, CEO Hong Seong-chang introduced 'The Judge from Hell' Season 2 starring Park Shin Hye, and 'Dash' starring actress Shin Hye Sun.
'The Judge from Hell' achieved massive success, with Park Shin Hye's passionate performance as the demon Kang Bit Na inhabiting a judge's body helping the show surpass a peak viewership rating of 13.6%, ranking number one across all channels in its time slot and sweeping the top of global OTT charts.
The series provided overwhelming catharsis to viewers with its intense 'eye for an eye' narrative, punishing villains in a demonic manner.
Currently, Park Shin Hye is pregnant with her second child and has decided on 'The Judge from Hell' Season 2 as her comeback project after giving birth.
