Yoon Jin-yi struggles during midsummer hike in luxury knitwear
Actress Yoon Jin-yi faced an unexpected challenge climbing Mt. Mindung in luxury Fendi knitwear during a recent trip to Gangwon-do.
Actress Yoon Jin-yi set out to climb Mt. Mindung in Gangwon-do dressed in luxury knitwear from Fendi, only to struggle through an unexpectedly grueling hike. While she initially expressed confidence, claiming she would "conquer it," she soon found herself drenched in sweat, lamenting, "This is seriously difficult."

On the 18th, a video titled 'It's written as a Gangwon-do trip, but it reads as almost dying on Mt. Mindung' was released on Yoon's YouTube channel.
In the video, Yoon traveled to Gangwon-do with her husband for a 2 Days & 1 Night trip. The couple, who often struggle to find leisure time while caring for their two children, enjoyed a long-awaited getaway after leaving the children in the care of her mother.
Yoon expressed her anticipation for the trip, saying, "I'm going to heal and have a happy time eating delicious food with my husband."
After spending a relaxing first day resting at a hotel, the couple challenged themselves to hike Mt. Mindung the following day.
Yoon set out for the hike in a glamorous outfit, wearing luxury knitwear. Before starting, she was overflowing with confidence.
She showed her determination, saying, "They say it takes 40 minutes to go up and 40 minutes to come down, so I'm going to conquer it." However, she soon foreshadowed the difficulty, stating, "I'm already tired."
Once the actual climb began, the situation changed faster than expected.
Not long after, Yoon tied her hair up tightly to cope with the simultaneous heat and physical strain.
While noting, "I tied my hair because it's so hot," she lamented, "That's not what's important right now; why is the path here so seriously difficult?"
She even compared the trek to the mountains she usually climbs easily in Seoul.
Yoon demonstrated the difficulty of the terrain, noting, "This is a completely different course from Achasan." Despite the struggle, she praised the natural environment of Gangwon-do, saying, "The air is incomparably better than in Seoul."
However, her physical strength gradually hit rock bottom.
Shortly after starting the climb, Yoon struggled, sweating profusely. She briefly felt a glimmer of hope upon spotting a snack stand, but fell into despair again upon learning they were only halfway to the summit.
Nevertheless, the couple persevered and continued their ascent.
After climbing uphill for dozens of minutes, they finally reached the summit. Although her polished appearance from the start had vanished, replaced by being drenched in sweat, the view at the top was enough to compensate for their hardships.
After reaching the summit, Yoon reflected on the grueling hike, saying, "We went through so much trouble to get here."
She continued to express her satisfaction with the scenery, exclaiming, "I don't think I'll ever see a landscape like this again."
The couple's short trip, taken to find a moment of respite from parenting, became a memorable adventure due to the unexpected intensity of the hike. In particular, the extreme contrast of Yoon—starting in luxury knitwear and reaching the summit drenched in sweat—served as a humorous highlight of the video.
