RESCENE's Woni becomes accidental 'withdrawn member' after Minami's mistake
A mishap occurred when RESCENE member Minami accidentally deleted Woni's fan communication account while attempting to log out of PlusChat.
A mishap occurred when the fan communication platform account of RESCENE member Woni was processed as a 'withdrawn member' due to a mistake by fellow member Minami. During a simple logout attempt, the account itself was unexpectedly deleted, resulting in a situation where even the author of previous posts is now displayed as a 'withdrawn member.'

On the 19th, while RESCENE was using the fan communication platform PlusChat, Woni's account was suddenly processed as withdrawn. PlusChat is a fan communication service where artists share photos and text and exchange messages with fans.
After the unexpected situation unfolded, the full story was revealed as Minami personally explained the circumstances.
Minami explained that while reinstalling the PlusChat application after replacing her mobile phone, she accidentally logged in with Woni's account. She stated that she subsequently attempted to log out, but because the account was linked to other applications, automatic logins continued, and she eventually pressed the withdrawal button to separate the accounts.
The problem was that the button Minami pressed was not a simple logout, but an actual membership withdrawal.
LIV also explained the situation at the time, saying, "Woni's account was connected to Minami's spare phone," adding, "It seems she pressed withdrawal instead of logout."
Woni, who suddenly lost her account, informed fans of the situation after creating a new account. While saying, "Minami probably pressed the PlusChat withdrawal button because she didn't know better," she turned the potentially heavy atmosphere into laughter by joking, "Sometimes you have to do this so people know I'm Japanese."
However, the actual situation was not as simple as it seemed.
Woni also explained, "It's a bit of an emergency," revealing that it is impossible to recover the existing account. It was reported that she even made an inquiry to PlusChat, but there were limits to reviving a withdrawn account.
The PlusChat management team was also reportedly flustered by the unexpected situation. The RESCENE members revealed that they received a contact from the management team to the effect of, "The system is designed so that it is difficult for artists to press withdrawal; how did this happen?"
Ultimately, Woni's original account could not be recovered.
While the photos and posts written on the original account remained, the author designation was changed to 'withdrawn member.' By resolving the situation by adding a new account instead of deleting the posts, the number of RESCENE's PlusChat accounts increased from 5 to 6.
While it is a somewhat absurd situation from the fans' perspective, the members accepted it lightheartedly and prepared alternatives to minimize inconvenience to fans.
Woni explained that she can communicate with fans through Bubble and Instagram in addition to PlusChat. She also mentioned that they can continue their connection with fans by using the other members' accounts to share photos or text together.
A method was also established to deliver PlusChat messages sent by fans to Woni. The method involves members checking the fans' messages through their own screens and then showing them to Woni.
Above all, the members urged fans not to give up on sending messages to Woni because of the account withdrawal.
The members reassured fans, saying, "Don't stop sending messages thinking, 'She probably won't be able to see them,' so please send many, many messages."
This happening is also interesting in that an account holds more meaning than just login information in an era where digital fan platforms have become a routine communication channel between artists and fans. Since it is a space where posts written directly by artists and messages from fans accumulate, the moment an account disappears, changes can occur in the digital records and traces of relationships built up over time.
However, instead of blaming each other for the unexpected accident, the RESCENE members moved past it with jokes and consideration. Woni, rather than seriously reprimanding Minami, accepted the situation with laughter, and the other members also eased the atmosphere by sharing the happening with fans.
In the end, Woni's original account disappeared into history, leaving behind the somewhat absurd label of 'withdrawn member.' However, the relationship with fans continues through the new account and other communication channels. While one account was lost due to a single mistake, it became an unexpected episode that confirmed the members' tight bond and their consideration for fans.
