BoA reveals unrecognizably changed face, bone necrosis surgery, and independence from SM Entertainment
Singer BoA shares updates on her health following bone necrosis surgery and her new journey as an independent artist under her own agency.
Singer BoA has revealed her healthy current status following surgery for bone necrosis.

On the 20th, BoA announced her fan concert via her SNS, stating, “Now, boom boom, see you next week.” She is set to hold her solo fan concert, 'BoA THE MIC', on the 27th and 28th at the Yonsei University Grand Auditorium in Seoul.
BoA is pictured wearing a mint-colored hat, a black hoodie, and headphones.
Last year, she prepared for a solo concert to celebrate her 25th anniversary since debut, but it was canceled due to health issues. After visiting the hospital due to worsening knee pain, she was diagnosed with acute bone necrosis and underwent surgery following her doctor's recommendation.
Despite this, she showed meaningful progress for her 25th anniversary since debut by releasing her 11th studio album, 'Crazier', last year. The album includes a total of 11 tracks, including the title track 'Crazier'. BoA actively participated in the songwriting, composing, and producing.
She concluded her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, with whom she had been accompanied for approximately 25 years, and became independent this past March through her own one-person agency, Baypal Entertainment.
Baypal Entertainment is a name that combines BoA's name with 'pal', meaning friend.
