BTS 'NORMAL' achieves chart rebound, conquering global charts again

'NORMAL,' a track from BTS's fifth studio album 'Arirang,' has once again proven its dominance in the global music market. Driven by steady fan support since its release, the song has re-entered the UK Official Charts, demonstrating the immense power of the top-tier K-pop group.

According to the latest UK Official Charts (July 24–30), 'NORMAL' landed at number 36 on the Official Singles Top 100. It was the highest-ranking song among all new entries this week, proving the growing influence of the fandom over time.

The track also showed a sharp upward trend on the Official Trending Chart (July 21), which tracks songs with the largest increase in sales compared to the previous week, where it recorded 4th place.

'Arirang' appeared across various categories, including number 41 on the UK Official Albums Chart, number 21 on the Official Physical Albums chart, and number 24 on the Official Album Sales chart.

The title track 'SWIM' climbed 10 spots from the previous week to reach number 52 on the Official Physical Singles chart. On Spotify, 'Arirang' has maintained its 2nd place on the Weekly Top Albums Global for six consecutive weeks, while 'SWIM' held onto 8th place, continuing its long-term success.

B-side tracks such as 'Body to Body,' '2.0,' and 'Hooligan' also remain steadily within the rankings, reflecting the high quality of the album and sustained fan engagement.

Meanwhile, BTS left a lasting impression on viewers worldwide with their halftime show performance during the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ final. On the day of the performance, search volume related to BTS surged, and the group recorded over 30,000,000 streams on Spotify in a single day, reaffirming their status as global superstars.

International media outlets also showered the group with praise. ESPN described the BTS performance as a "flawless performance," while ABC Australia lauded it, stating, "It was such a perfect stage that the performance time felt short."
