BTS releases Korean version and MV of 'NORMAL' showing raw daily life
BTS drops the Korean version and music video for 'NORMAL' from their 5th album 'ARIRANG', capturing intimate, human moments behind the spotlight.
BTS has released the Korean version music release and music video for 'NORMAL', a track from their 5th studio album 'ARIRANG', capturing the most human sides of the members behind their glamorous stages.

According to their agency, Big Hit Music, on the 17th, BTS released the additional music release for 'NORMAL' at 1 PM.
This additional music release consists of three versions: the original, the Korean version, and an Instrumental version. The Korean version was first unveiled during the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN BUSAN' concert held last month and received an enthusiastic response from fans.
On the same day, the music video for the original version of 'NORMAL' was pre-released via Spotify. It is scheduled to be released on major platforms, including YouTube, on the 19th.
BTS 'As They Are' Behind the Scenes
The music video is characterized by capturing the daily lives of BTS that exist behind the glamorous stages and spotlights.
Directed around the quiet moments that follow once the heat of the stage cools down, the video focuses on the natural appearance of the members, expressing fatigue and raw emotion through scenes such as singing while being drenched in water while fully clothed, or lying down with wounded faces.
Furthermore, the contrast between glamour and ordinariness is emphasized as the traces left after a party intersect with the calm daily lives of the members the following morning. Instead of exaggerated direction, the camera delicately captures the individual expressions and moods of the members, completing a natural sensibility.
Success on the Billboard Charts
'NORMAL' is an alternative pop track that has proven its global popularity by entering the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 41 and remaining on the chart for three consecutive weeks.
Continuing the Success of the 5th Album and World Tour
BTS continues their momentum, having achieved great success on major global music charts with their 5th studio album 'ARIRANG' released last March.
Currently, they are meeting global fans through the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'', performing a total of 88 shows in 34 cities worldwide.
In addition, they will appear during the halftime show for the 2026 FIFA World Cup North America final in New Jersey, USA, on the 19th (local time). BTS is set to perform alongside pop star Madonna and Shakira, presenting a special stage before football fans around the world.
