BTS V Encourages Fellow Soldier Amid Controversy Over Privacy Exposure

BTS member V cheered on a fellow soldier from his military service days.

A creator recently released a series of videos documenting his experience training alongside V at the Army Training Center. He shared stories of visiting a church with V for Christmas, memories of playing games at the training center, and the process of selecting elite trainees.

V responded warmly to this, saying, "It's been a long time. Your memory is truly amazing," and this comment became a hot topic among fans.

However, as more videos continued to be uploaded, some fans expressed concern that too much private information from his military service was being disclosed. In response, the creator stated, "I made these videos because I wanted to show that V is a good person. But I think it's right to stop posting more," expressing his intention to exercise restraint.

At this, V encouraged him to continue, saying, "Why stop? Tell us more. I find it fun. Actually, I don't even remember much myself."

Ultimately, the creator announced he would continue releasing videos, and as the controversy persisted, V explained his position through a long comment on the 3rd.

V stated, "It seems there are opinions of people who are worried, but I am finding the videos very entertaining. It was done with good intentions, so I hope people don't let every reaction weigh on their hearts."

He added, "I think misunderstandings might arise because the videos are posted in short segments. It is understandable to feel that way. You were the ace in our platoon. The time spent with you remains a truly joyful memory. People who didn't live through it directly might find it difficult to understand the atmosphere and emotions of that time. I'm leaving this comment because I'm worried you might be doing bench presses while stressed by these reactions. I don't remember your dream, but seeing how fit you are, it seems your dream was to be a bodybuilder. Fighting!"

V enlisted in December 2023 and served in the Army 2nd Corps Military Police Special Mission Unit, discharging last month.
