BTS V Requests Fans to Refrain from Visiting Hotels During Overseas Tour
BTS member V asks fans to respect his privacy and avoid visiting his hotel to ensure proper rest and performance quality during the world tour.
BTS member V has officially requested fans to refrain from visiting his hotel, citing ongoing privacy violations during his overseas tour schedule.
On the 1st, V stated through a fan communication platform, “I am sincerely grateful for your support, but if possible, please refrain from coming to the front of the hotel.” He urged fans to be considerate, adding, “I do not want my accommodation location to be revealed, and it also affects my performance condition.”
He continued, “While on tour, the time spent tasting local food and walking the streets to comfortably experience the country is also very precious. I hope there will be no more visits to the front of the hotel in the future.”
Along with this, V released an image capturing his sleep records. The records showed a total sleep time of only 2 hours and 27 minutes, with short durations for deep sleep and REM sleep, suggesting he is unable to get sufficient rest amidst the long-distance tour and continuous schedule. However, one cannot conclude his health status based solely on the released sleep records.
Recently, Big Hit Music also reaffirmed its firm stance by disclosing the status of legal actions taken against privacy violations of its artists. The agency stated that the court sentenced a defendant, who committed unauthorized intrusion into an artist's residence and repeated stalking, to one year in prison with a two-year stay of execution.
Furthermore, the agency emphasized that loitering near a residence, waiting, or unilateral gift delivery is not mere fan devotion but can constitute clear illegal acts. They announced a policy to continue legal responses, including police reports, against such privacy violations.
Meanwhile, BTS has been meeting fans around the world since last March through the world tour ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG’. Starting with the performance in Madrid, Spain, at the end of last June, they have entered their European tour schedule and are continuing their performances.
