Moon Hee-jun misses out on family discount due to son's age

Singer Moon Hee-jun, a member of the group H.O.T., expressed disappointment after his attempt to activate a mobile phone for his son was blocked by age requirements.

On the 17th, Moon released a video on his YouTube channel titled 'The reason we couldn't get the family discount!? Ending in failure while trying to activate a 4-year-old's phone.'

In the video, Moon revealed that he tried to activate a mobile phone for his four-year-old son, Hui-u, but was unable to proceed because they did not meet the telecommunications company's subscription criteria.

"I was originally planning to buy him a phone next year, but since the telecommunications family discount benefit is available until July 31, I prepared in advance," Moon explained. "I even rushed to purchase the device, but they said activation is only possible after his birthday has passed."

He continued, expressing his regret, "In the end, only the three of us are doing the family combination, and my son is left out. There is about a month left until his birthday, but we couldn't receive the benefits because of that one-month difference."

Moon confessed that he is more disappointed about the family not being able to receive the benefits together than the monetary discount itself.

"It's disappointing not to get the discount, but it weighs on my mind more that the family is supposed to be together and only my son is left out," he said with a laugh, adding, "How much of a discount would my wife or I even get?"

Moon married So Yool, a former member of the group Crayon Pop, in 2017, and they have one son and one daughter. Recently, he has been communicating with fans by steadily sharing his daily life with his family through his YouTube channel.
