On the May 26 episode of the SBS variety program "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny," singer Park Gun and Han Yeong, a couple in their fifth year of marriage, opened up for the first time about the IVF treatment process they had undergone for two years, expressing their apologies and gratitude toward each other.

Park Gun comforted Han Yeong, saying, "You really went through so much. We never told anyone that we were doing IVF. You are someone who normally does not eat much and works out hard, but I know your face swelled and you struggled because of hormonal changes."

Han Yeong described the difficult process, saying, "I gained a lot of weight and was swollen. For two years, I barely rested and continued treatments every month. I repeated the process of retrieving eggs and then immediately carrying out transfers one after another. During that time, I underwent as many as 24 egg retrievals and seven embryo transfer attempts."

Park Gun said, "She even received injections to lower her immunity in order to raise the success rate. It was to the point that even the immunity she originally had was gone," conveying that the pain his wife had to endure was no small matter.

Han Yeong said, "Even now, I cannot easily bring up the subject of IVF. Even words of comfort from people around me felt difficult. While asking people to understand because I was sensitive due to IVF, I think I was sharp without realizing it," and apologized to Park Gun.

Park Gun told Han Yeong, "You went through so much. I should have understood you more and accepted everything, but I was also busy. Looking back now, I feel so sorry."

Han Yeong revealed that they had given up on having a child, saying, "I thought I had truly done everything I could. I stopped the treatments when I reached my limit. Now I have decided that the two of us should live happily together."

Park Gun showed respect for Han Yeong's wishes, saying, "I was truly grateful to my wife. Since I am an only son and do not have family, she wanted to create a family for me, but when I saw how much she was suffering, I was the one who first said we should stop. I think that if we are given a child, we will gratefully raise the child well, and if not, we can live happily as we are."

The two held their wedding in April 2022. Han Yeong was born in 1978 and is eight years older than Park Gun.
