Seohyun explains why she rarely contacts Girls' Generation members

Seohyun, the youngest member of Girls' Generation, recently opened up about her special relationship with her fellow members, showcasing their enduring friendship. Her candid admission that they do not communicate daily because they have evolved from long-time colleagues into family members caught the attention of many.

A recent video titled "'Her name is Ppo-ppo, so why won't you let me kiss her?' Girls' Generation Seohyun's dog, who doesn't live up to her name, appears" was released on the YouTube channel Kang Hyung-wook's Bodem TV.

During the episode, Seohyun appeared alongside her 10-year-old dog, Ppo-ppo, expressing her deep affection for her pet.

Kang Hyung-wook recalled past episodes involving Girls' Generation members Taeyeon and Kwon Yuri, who had previously appeared on his program. "Two members of Girls' Generation have appeared before. One of them even brought a raccoon instead of a dog," he remarked, reminiscing about the past.

When he asked, "Are you two talking about the 'Guest Show'?", Seohyun's unexpected response drew laughter from the group.

"We don't really talk about such trivial things," Seohyun said, prompting Kang Hyung-wook to jokingly retort, "Is appearing on the 'Guest Show' considered trivial?", lightening the mood.

Seohyun quickly clarified her reasoning.

"We are actually so close that we don't contact each other often," she explained.

Having shared countless moments together since their late teens, the relationship between the Girls' Generation members has transitioned into a family-like bond where they feel comfortable regardless of how much time passes, rather than a relationship requiring daily check-ins.

Kang Hyung-wook agreed, noting, "Aren't you practically family?" Seohyun expressed her continued support for her members, adding, "That's right. Still, I watch everything when the older members appear."

Now in their 18th year since debut, the members of Girls' Generation pursue diverse careers in acting, music, and broadcasting while maintaining their tight-knit bond. Seohyun's comments highlighted the deep trust and connection unique to a group with such a long history.

Seohyun also shared updates on her life, stating, "I am doing well as Ppo-ppo's mom, and I am also preparing for my next project." She also mentioned that she continues to practice the violin and piano as hobbies.
