Sunmi shuts down drunk man demanding 'Wonder Girls' pour drinks
Singer Sunmi reveals how she stood up to a rude drunk customer during her Wonder Girls days on the SBS variety show 'Uh, But Like, Seriously!'
Singer Sunmi has garnered attention by revealing how she boldly stood up to a rude drunk man in the past. While Sunmi, known for her typically calm and gentle image, stated, "I become firm the moment someone crosses the line," she shared an absurd situation she experienced during her Wonder Girls days.

In the 25th episode of the SBS variety program 'Uh, But Like, Seriously!' which aired on the 20th, singer Yunho, Sunmi, and entertainer Welcome, First Time in Korea? appeared to share various stories.
During the episode, MC Lee Su-ji asked Sunmi, "You don't seem like the type to get angry easily. Was there ever a moment in your life when you were truly angry?"
Sunmi answered honestly, saying, "I am usually quite easygoing," but added, "If the other person crosses the line, I become a demon." She explained that while she does not usually reveal her emotions easily, she expresses her intentions clearly when others fail to maintain politeness.
During the conversation, Sunmi shared an unpleasant experience she had while having a meal with Wonder Girls member Yubin.
Sunmi explained the situation, saying, "This happened once. I was eating with Yubin unnie, and the men at the next table were drunk."
She continued, surprising the cast members by stating, "They picked up their glasses, came to our table, and said, 'Pour some drinks for Wonder Girls.'"
The MCs could not hide their disbelief at the unexpected and rude demand, reacting with, "That's nonsense" and "It sounds like a scene from a drama." They were shocked that she was asked to serve drinks in a private setting simply because she was a member of a popular girl group.
Sunmi revealed that she did not simply endure the situation. Looking at Yunho, she reenacted what she said to the drunk men, firmly stating, "You should act your age. Please leave quickly."
It was a moment that revealed Sunmi's strong-willed side hidden behind her soft tone and quiet image.
Yunho also drew laughter by reacting to Sunmi's sharp remark, saying, "Suddenly, I feel wide awake."
Sunmi has received public love for a long time since her debut, but she is also known for having clear standards regarding situations where she is not respected offstage. This anecdote drew interest as it showed her refusal to remain silent when basic etiquette was not afforded to her in a private setting.
Since debuting as a member of Wonder Girls, Sunmi has continued her successful transformation into a solo artist, releasing hit songs such as '24 Hours is Not Enough,' 'Full Moon,' and 'Gashina.' She continues to connect with the public through her unrivaled performances, musicality, and honest wit.
