Ballad Queen Baek Ji Young Reveals: "My 10-Year-Old Daughter Ha-im Has No Singing Talent"

On the 28th, during the SBS show 'My Little Old Boy', Lyn, the 'OST Queen', reveals that she first consulted her close friend Baek Ji Young regarding her divorce from ISU.

Lyn goes out with Baek Ji Young, whom she has known for 20 years. To help her older friend Baek Ji Young, who has been somewhat out of touch with trends due to focusing on parenting, the stylish Lyn steps in as a one-day trend guide. Lyn introduced 'Jel-kku' (decorating jelly shoes), a trend currently popular among the MZ generation, and the two drew attention with their polar opposite reactions.

Unlike the excited Lyn, Baek Ji Young showed a lukewarm reaction, saying, "I don't know much about that kind of thing." However, after being exposed to various colorful jelly shoe accessories, she underwent a 180-degree transformation, exclaiming, "Did a world like this exist? My eyes are spinning."

Lyn also attempted to teach her more trends by giving Baek Ji Young a slang quiz, but Baek Ji Young provided unimaginable wrong answers, providing much laughter.

Lyn shared the difficulties of confiding in acquaintances after deciding to get a divorce. She revealed that while she wanted to tell Baek Ji Young first, she actually first shared the news of her divorce during a gathering with colleagues such as Baek Ji Young, Yoon Jong-shin, and Kim Bum-soo. Baek Ji Young recalled her feelings when she heard the divorce confession from her close younger friend, Lyn.

Baek Ji Young also shared updates on her 10-year-old daughter, Ha-im. Resembling her father Jung Seokwon, her daughter is 15cm taller than her peers and shares the same shoe size as Baek Ji Young. Baek Ji Young surprised everyone by stating that, unlike her mother who is a representative ballad singer of Korea, "My daughter has absolutely no talent for singing."
