Lyn opens up about marriage and divorce on 'My Little Old Boy'

Singer Lyn has candidly shared her feelings regarding her marriage and subsequent divorce for the first time, approximately one year after the split. While evaluating her marriage itself as "happy," she left a deep impression by confessing that a sense of loss remains, as if she had lost a spouse who was also her closest friend and life companion for a long time.

In the SBS variety program 'My Little Old Boy' broadcast on the 5th, Lyn was seen visiting a moxibustion room with her close colleague, singer K.Will. In a relaxed atmosphere, the two engaged in an open conversation covering topics such as marriage, divorce, human relationships, and life changes. During this process, Lyn calmly revealed her psychological changes and current emotions following her divorce.

The conversation began naturally while mentioning K.Will's YouTube content. Lyn asked, "Don't you have other content besides 'Knowing Sister-in-Law'?" to which K.Will replied, "There is also 'Known Sister-in-Law.'" Lyn responded wittily, "Are those people who have already been there?" drawing laughter.

K.Will indirectly mentioned Lyn's divorce by saying, "Just as PD Seon Hye-yoon was cast as the first guest for 'Knowing Sister-in-Law,' 'Known Sister-in-Law' was actually thinking of you," and the two continued the mood by exchanging jokes like close friends.

Lyn also honestly expressed the feelings of being left out. She said, "Baek Ji Young unnie and Gummy appeared on 'Knowing Sister-in-Law,' but you never called me once," adding with a laugh, "That was back when I was still married."

To this, K.Will explained, "Of course we were thinking of you," and noted, "When we were trying to cast you, didn't you bring up the divorce story first?" allowing the two to naturally reminisce about the situation at that time.

The conversation then moved to views on marriage. Lyn asked K.Will, who has recently been living independently, "Do you have no intention of getting married?" K.Will drew a line, stating, "I do have the intention to marry. I am not a non-marriage believer."

However, he shared his realistic concerns, saying, "Living as a family means facing numerous unexpected situations together," and "I feel like I still lack that much courage and determination, so I hesitate."

Hearing this, Lyn shared her thoughts on marriage based on her own experience. She said, "I eventually made the choice to divorce, but even so, I would still recommend marriage," before reminiscing, "I had a truly happy marriage. Even now, beautiful and warm memories remain in my heart like a core."

She then calmly confessed the biggest change she felt after her marriage ended. Lyn said, "It means my husband is gone, but the feeling of having lost a very close friend remains even more significantly."

"I don't know whether to call it a sense of regret or a feeling of sadness," she said, unable to continue, and eventually shed tears, unable to hide her surging emotions.
