Comedian Cho Hoon Says He Often Fights With His Fifth-Dan Taekwondo Wife: 'How Dare You?'
On SBS's Same Bed, Different Dreams 2, comedian Cho Hoon introduced wife Yoon Hye-jung, a fifth-dan taekwondo creator.
Korean comedian Cho Hoon drew attention on SBS's variety program Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny after introducing his wife, Yoon Hye-jung, whose unexpected beauty left Seo Jang-hoon visibly surprised.

On the June 9 broadcast, Cho appeared with Yoon, and Seo reacted with a look of clear astonishment when the comedian revealed his good-looking wife. The moment became one of the episode's talking points because the studio had been primed to expect a stronger comic presence from Cho himself.
Cho had raised expectations as the top figure from the 16th class of SBS's open recruitment for comedians, but his entrance was more ordinary than expected. Lee Sun-min added a behind-the-scenes detail, saying, 'Cho Hoon lost 10 kg after getting married.'
Introducing himself, Cho said, 'I am Cho Hoon, a comedian and singer from SBS's 16th comedian class who greeted people through Do You Know Dr. Hong?' Kwak Beom immediately took a jab, saying, 'It feels like when you lost weight, the humor went out with it.' Seo Jang-hoon joined in by saying, 'You don't feel like a comedian.' Lee Ji-hye went even further, adding, 'You don't feel like a comedian, and you don't feel like an entertainer either.'
Yoon Hye-jung, who has 710,000 YouTube subscribers and 2.3 million TikTok followers, was introduced as a former member of the national taekwondo demonstration team and a certified fifth-dan practitioner. She showed off her kicking skills on the program. Her relationship with Cho began through content collaborations, and the two grew close while working together. Lee Sun-min explained their romance by saying, 'Cho Hoon is someone who has to find a funny point in order to be drawn to someone, and he said she was the funniest woman in his life.'
Yoon usually presents a comic and natural image, but when fully styled, she showed a clean, delicate beauty that contrasted sharply with that everyday persona. Seeing that transformation, Seo Jang-hoon reacted by asking, 'Who was that woman from just now?'
Cho Hoon and Yoon Hye-jung are the same age. The couple also showed their unusual sense of humor through their wedding invitation, writing that it was their 'first wedding ceremony' and mentioning Divorce Consideration Camp. Cho admitted, 'From early on, I thought we did not fit well together. Even after two years, we still fight a lot.' Yoon agreed, saying, 'We fight a tremendous amount.'
Cho then described how intense the arguments became during wedding preparations. 'People say couples fight while preparing for marriage, but we already fought a lot, and during the wedding preparations we fought every time we breathed,' he said. Yoon echoed that feeling with an even more pointed estimate: 'Out of 365 days, I think we fight about 360 days, except for maybe five days.'
