Dawn reveals museum-like two-story home on 'I Live Alone'

Singer Dawn is revealing a new side of himself by showcasing a large detached house with a yard and a space filled with his personal sensibility.

Through the MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone' airing on the 18th, Dawn will first present his four-year journey of living alone along with the home he decorated himself.

In a previously released preview, Dawn shared a glimpse of his daily life, stating, "I am in my fourth year of living alone." His unique living space, in particular, captured attention. The home is a two-story detached house with a spacious yard, exuding a calm and character-filled atmosphere that differs from typical celebrity residences.

Inside the house, furniture made of traditional materials and various objects are placed throughout, featuring an interior that harmonizes Oriental aesthetics with modern sensibilities.

Regarding his home, Dawn explained, "My house right now is a space like a museum. I wanted to preserve the original elements as much as possible while adding an Oriental atmosphere. That's why I brought in many objects related to our country's intangible heritage."

He continued to share his interior design philosophy, stating, "I like the feeling of naturally placing things I like just as they are," pursuing a space where his favorite items and memories accumulate rather than following standardized decor.

In particular, the place Dawn showed the most affection for was the staircase area connected to the entrance. Sitting on the sunlit stairs, he introduced the spot by saying, "I often eat brunch here," showing how he enjoys his own leisurely time despite his busy schedule.

Known for his relaxed personality, Dawn also spoke candidly about his way of life.

"My nickname was 'Sloth,'" he said, adding, "I have my own pace." He further revealed his characteristic positive attitude, saying, "I don't think I've ever been annoyed in my life. Even if something bad happens, I tend not to dwell on it too much."

He also showed a calm charm that differs from his glamorous stage image, stating, "My favorite saying is 'No news is good news,' and I like a quiet and peaceful daily life the most."

After debuting with the group Pentagon in 2016, Dawn expanded his career as a solo artist. He drew significant attention during his public relationship with singer Hyuna starting in 2018, but the two broke up in 2022 after approximately six years of dating. Since then, Dawn has continued to pursue musical activities while maintaining his own unique color.
