TV personality Kim Na-young has responded to past criticism that she served her children inadequate meals by stepping up with a large-quantity cooking session.

On the 17th, a video titled "Nayoung's Spring Home Cooking Record! A Menu Full of Love — From Sotbap and Gimbap to French Toast" was uploaded to the channel "Kim Nayoung's nofilterTV." Kim Na-young prepared home-cooked meals for her two sons Sinwoo and Ijun, as well as their cousin children.
While preparing beef and vegetable fried rice for the children's lunch, she vented her frustration to the camera, saying, "There's been some controversy about the portion sizes. But honestly, looking at it in real life, it was never a small amount. It just seemed to look really small on screen. Today, I'm going to make it generously so there's absolutely no controversy about the portions."
She generously added large chunks of beef and an assortment of vegetables, then began stir-frying the rice in a large wok. Showing off dazzling wrist flicks, she was highly satisfied with the enormous quantity of the finished fried rice, exclaiming, "Wow, with this much, I could even give some to the neighbors." The children kept saying, "It's really delicious."
Kim Na-young also attempted to make tomato jam for the first time in her life as a dessert.
After her divorce, Kim Na-young raised her two sons on her own before remarrying singer MyQ in October 2025.
