Sister's double eyelid surgery to avoid looking like brother backfires

Comedian Lee Chang-ho introduced his biological sister on broadcast, sharing the unique bond and striking physical resemblance between the siblings. In particular, the sister's story of undergoing double eyelid surgery twice during her childhood specifically to avoid being called "Chang-ho's sister," only to end up looking even more like her brother, brought laughter to the show.

In the 976th episode of the MBC variety program "Radio Star," which aired on the 12th, Hong Hyun Hee, Kim Moon-jeong, Lee Chang-ho, and Yoo Ho-jin appeared as guests.

During the episode, while introducing the business he operates, Lee called a woman into the studio. Lee explained, "I run a small business. I am nurturing influencers."

As the woman appeared, Hong Hyun Hee compared the appearances of the two and asked, "Don't you look alike?" Lee surprised the cast by revealing, "She is my biological sister."

Standing side by side, the siblings indeed showed significant similarities in their facial features and face shapes. Lee then shared an anecdote from their childhood regarding his sister's appearance.

He stated, "Since I was young, I was so stressed because I heard people call me 'Chang-ho's sister' so much because I looked like him. I had double eyelid surgery twice because I didn't want to look like him."

However, the result was contrary to expectations. Lee caused laughter by saying, "But she ended up looking even more like me." The change chosen to avoid their physical similarity actually ended up reinforcing their image as lookalikes.

The sister revealed that she lived as an ordinary office worker but is currently working at the same company as Lee. According to Lee, his sister handles tasks such as influencer activities and styling.

The two have a 7-year age gap. Lee recalled taking special care of his sister since she was young, saying, "Since there is a 7-year difference between us, I practically raised her. While changing her dirty diapers."

There was also a time when the sister dreamed of following in her brother's footsteps to become a comedian. Lee revealed that his sister had previously challenged the comedian auditions, saying, "I made her memorize all the classes of the senior comedians in advance."

When an impromptu test was conducted on the broadcast, the sister immediately answered that Yoo Se Yoon is from the 19th class and Jang Do Yeon is from the 22nd class, proving that the "tutoring" she received from her brother was no exaggeration.

The story of Lee and his sister went beyond a simple "lookalike siblings" episode. It is also interesting that the sister, who attempted to change her appearance to escape her brother's shadow in her childhood, eventually ended up working in the same industry as him.
