Park Jun-geum Reveals Luxury Lifestyle and Dating Preferences at Age 64

On the 31st of last month, during SBS's 'My Little Old Boy', actress Park Jun-geum revealed her luxurious home.

Tak Jae Hoon, Heo Kyung Hwan, and Choi Jin Hyuk visited Park Jun-geum's house. Park Jun-geum showcased a home filled with luxury bags, clothes, and shoes. Seeing the glamorous interior and expensive items, Tak Jae Hoon, Heo Kyung Hwan, and Choi Jin Hyuk could not close their mouths in surprise.

Heo Kyung Hwan speculated that Park Jun-geum might have been born into wealth, saying, "It seems like she didn't just collect luxury goods instantly, but has been wealthy since she was young." Tak Jae Hoon joked that her spending habits might be quite significant, asking, "Haven't you been living a lavish life since you were young?" Choi Jin Hyuk mentioned that there were rumors of Park Jun-geum being born with a silver spoon.

Park Jun-geum clarified, "We weren't a wealthy family when I was young. When my mother got married, they only had two pieces of cutlery. My mother suffered a lot. When I was 26, my mother became ill. After my mother passed away, my father began to earn money. My mother lived without knowing what luxury was, but her daughters enjoyed it quite well." It was noted that Park Jun-geum's father ran a steel business in the 1980s. To this, Jung Suk-yong nodded and said, "I guess you act like a chaebol's wife because it's so ingrained in you."

Park Jun-geum admitted that her family became wealthy later, recalling, "My father is from Gyeongsang-do, so he is blunt. One day, he just threw a key at me and said, 'Hey, go out to the parking lot.' So I went out, and my father gave me a Grandeur as a birthday gift. Back then, it was the angular Grandeur. It was white. I was so happy." Heo Kyung Hwan expressed envy, asking, "I'm sorry, but are you talking about a drama role?" Park Jun-geum reminisced, "It's real. I used to go to discotheques until 12 or 1 AM riding that."

She also revealed the behind-the-scenes story of her name: "My father is from Gimhae, Gyeongsang-do, but he left his first love and came to Chuncheon because he had nothing to make a living. My mother is a woman from Chuncheon. They married there. My father had a separate first love whose name included 'Geum' (gold). After my mother passed away, I heard it from my father. Because I resembled that first love slightly, they added 'Geum' to my name."

Heo Kyung Hwan said he liked Park Jun-geum's younger self, noting, "I searched for old photos. She is my style. She is cute. I like this style." Tak Jae Hoon asked, "Don't you still get advances these days?" When Heo Kyung Hwan asked, "Are you still open to dating?" Park Jun-geum replied, "I am always open. However, I don't do blind dates. My age is not the age to be doing blind dates. I pursue natural encounters, such as having a meal or playing golf."
