Park Won Sook recalls son lost 23 years ago, expresses envy for Im Hyun-sik's daughters

Actress Park Won Sook revealed her deep inner feelings while watching actor Im Hyun-sik being cared for by his children. Her calm words, carrying the pain of losing her only son in an accident 23 years ago, left a heavy impression even amidst a conversation filled with laughter.

On the 23rd, a video titled 'Park Won Sook ♥ Im Hyun-sik House Tour—The Ending Leads to the Hospital!?' was released on Park Won Sook's YouTube channel. The video captures Park visiting Im's 1,000-pyeong scale country house and vegetable garden.

While looking around the large vegetable garden, Park jokingly nagged him, saying, "Pulling weeds is so hard. Are you betting your life on farming because you can't stand seeing idle land? Please rest a little now." Her blunt yet warm way of speaking, typical of long-time acquaintances, hinted at the close friendship between the two.

She then expressed sincere respect while reflecting on Im's life.

"I think Hyun-sik has lived a very good life," Park praised. "He has lived doing what he loves until this age, and he raised his children well. Looking back, he was a truly wonderful father and husband, and he has lived a magnificent life as an actor."

The video also provided laughter through the 'bickering' chemistry between the two.

When Park said, "I'm thankful to be alive today to take photos of flowers," Im misunderstood this as an invitation to go flower viewing and gave an eccentric response. As the conversation continued to go off track, Park suggested, "Is it because your ears are blocked? You should go to an ENT."

However, Im continued to give nonsensical answers by bringing up dentists and urologists, eventually causing Park to burst into laughter, saying, "I'm telling you to go to an ear hospital."

At that, Im confessed, "I do have a hearing aid, but I don't want to wear it. My daughters tell me to go to the hospital, and I'm sick of hearing that now."

"How wonderful it is to have daughters who take care of you and tell you to go to the hospital," she said. "I am so envious of that." She added, "I'm just lucky that I have a manager who takes care of me and tells me to go to the hospital now," but her calm words were permeated with the sense of loss she has carried for a long time.

In 2003, she experienced the tragedy of losing her only son in a car accident. Since then, she has confessed through various broadcasts that her life changed completely after losing her son, gaining sympathy from many viewers by honestly sharing her grief and loneliness.
