RalRal hits 9kg weight loss goal but faces 41% stock loss

While creator RalRal recently revealed her successful 9kg weight loss, she also candidly shared the mental toll of significant losses in her stock investments. While her weight has decreased noticeably, her heart grows heavy every time she checks her account balance, presenting an extreme contrast in her recent life.

On the 16th, a video titled 'Crazy Mood Swing Vlog (Stock Market Crash Syndrome)' was released on RalRal's YouTube channel.

In the video, RalRal visited a valley with acquaintances to escape the heatwave. While relieving stress by soaking in the cool water, she appeared highly excited, picking up marsh snails and even taking a cold water bath. During the cold bath, she drew laughter by shouting, "My wish for this year is to lose weight!"

However, significant changes had already occurred in her body. RalRal, who previously weighed 77kg, lowered her weight to the 68kg range by combining exercise, dieting, and abstinence from alcohol for about three months. This amounts to a loss of approximately 9kg.

Her slimmer silhouette was confirmed in recently released photos and videos, drawing attention from fans. As she has publicly shared her weight during her dieting process, this weight loss also drew attention as one of her major recent updates.

However, the joy of weight loss was short-lived. In the video, RalRal showed a completely different expression as she confessed the stress caused by her stock investments.

She lamented, "I think I've caught stock market crash depression," expressing frustration every morning when checking her stock charts. The investment losses are affecting her daily life to the extent that the video title itself is 'Stock Market Crash Syndrome.'

In particular, RalRal previously revealed that she purchased SK Hynix stock at approximately 2.8 million won per share. Contrary to her expectations at the time, she explained that the stock price dropped to the 1.645 million won level, recording a decline of about 41%.

It is an ironic situation. While the numbers on her body have decreased from 77 to 68, her stress increases every time she checks the numbers in her investment account. Although she expressed it through her signature humorous way of speaking, the psychological burden of the investment loss seems significant.

In fact, RalRal has recently been cheerfully sharing her diet and daily life. On Liberation Day, she posted photos of a yacht trip with her husband, while adding a laugh by stating, "I ate everything except alcohol, so I gained 2kg."

Meanwhile, RalRal married a non-celebrity who is 11 years older in 2024 and has a daughter. She operates a personal YouTube channel while also serving as an MC for KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman.'
