Yoo Hye-jung reveals struggles after 15kg weight gain
Actress Yoo Hye-jung opens up on 'Perfect Life' about her 15kg weight gain, digestive issues, and having to wear men's clothing.
Actress Yoo Hye-jung candidly shared the physical and digestive struggles she faced after gaining 15kg. She confessed that at the time, even women's XL sizes were too small, forcing her to buy and wear men's clothing.

Yoo and her daughter, Seo Gyu-won, appeared on TV CHOSUN's 'Perfect Life,' which aired on the 12th.
While Yoo did not appear to have any particular health concerns at first glance, she revealed her motivation for appearing on the show, stating, "Women have an eternal concern: dieting."
Yoo revealed, "Until just four years ago, I had gained 15kg. I reached 65kg."
When Hyun Young looked at past photos and remarked, "Is the clothing just large? Looking at the photos, there doesn't seem to be a huge difference," Yoo explained the reality of her situation that wasn't visible in the pictures.
"At that time, I only wore large clothes because I had to hide my body," she said. "I even had to buy and wear men's clothing because XL pants didn't fit."
Her lifestyle habits at the time played a significant role in the weight gain. Yoo confessed that while she was running a clothing store, she frequently ate late-night snacks while picking up inventory in the early morning hours.
She recalled, "When you go out to get goods in the early morning, there are many delicious late-night snacks. I would eat those and couldn't digest them. I also suffered from severe constipation."
Regarding her abdominal condition at the time, she noted, "My stomach swelled up like a turtle's shell. It was because I couldn't digest food. I also had many breakouts on my face; it was a total disaster."
It wasn't just the number on the scale; the combination of an irregular lifestyle, late-night snacks, and digestive issues caused her overall physical health to collapse.
Born in 1973, Yoo appeared on 'Perfect Life' alongside her daughter, Seo Gyu-won, to share her health management and dieting experiences.
