Choi Jung-yoon reveals husband's ‘new woman’ is a Tesla Model YL
Choi Jung-yoon collected her husband's new Tesla Model YL in a YouTube video, playfully introducing the car as his “new woman.” The actress shared her impressions of its interior and driving comfort, along with footage after modifications were completed.
Actress Choi Jung-yoon introduced her husband's “new woman” in a video about welcoming a new family member after her remarriage. The reveal was a high-priced new car: a Tesla Model YL she was collecting on his behalf.
The video, titled “The Day We Welcome a New Family Member: Choi Jung-yoon's First Meeting With the Tesla Model YL,” was uploaded on the 15th to her YouTube channel, Choi Jung-yoon Running Freely.
Appearing neatly dressed for the occasion, Choi Jung-yoon said she was heading out to greet an important arrival. “The reason I'm dressed formally today is that an honored guest is due to arrive at our home, so I'm going to welcome them,” she said. “It's the day a new family member arrives, so I'm going to meet them. I'm excited.”
She added that the newcomer was “someone quite extraordinary” and that the meeting followed a long period of deliberation and had taken time to arrange.
Choi Jung-yoon heightened the suspense by saying, “This one's main partner is my husband. My husband's new woman.” While the remark could have suggested a new romantic partner for the man she had recently married, she was referring to his new Tesla Model YL.
Carrying authorization from her husband, she went to collect the vehicle in his place. Once she saw the car, she inspected its interior closely and expressed surprise at its sparse layout compared with other vehicles.
“There's nothing in the car. Just a steering wheel and a monitor,” she said.
She also offered a personal assessment based on her previous experience with Tesla vehicles. “As someone who has used a Tesla before, things like the seats do feel firm, but honestly, I'm not particularly sensitive,” she said. “I think it's really comfortable to drive.”
Choi Jung-yoon later showed the car after modifications had been completed, sharing her pleasure at welcoming the new arrival.
In 2011, Choi Jung-yoon married Yoon Tae-joon, a former member of Eagle Five and the eldest son of former E-Land Group vice chair Park Sung-kyung. They had one daughter before divorcing in 2022, with Choi Jung-yoon taking custody.
In March, she drew attention when she disclosed that she had remarried an office worker five years her junior.
The latest video offered a playful glimpse of her married life through the collection of her husband's new car. The reveal behind her “new woman” description provided a humorous turn, while also drawing interest in her changed daily routine after remarriage and the life the couple will build together.
