Actress Go Youn-jung has begun filming for the Disney+ series Moving Season 2, noting that her body instinctively remembered the character Jang Hui-su despite the pressure of following a successful first season.

Actress Go Youn-jung has shared her feelings regarding the start of filming for the Disney+ series 'Moving' Season 2, expressing a special affection for her character, Jang Hui-su. She confessed that while the pressure was significant because creating a sequel after a successful first season is never easy, once filming actually began, her body seemed to remember being Hui-su instinctively. Reunited with senior and fellow actors, the actress—now in her seventh year since debut—honestly spoke about her ongoing reflections as an actor seeking to fill the gaps in her craft rather than settling for her recent achievements.

Harper's Bazaar Korea has released two cover versions and one inside cover for its November issue featuring Go Youn-jung. In the pictorial, she expresses a signature pure and elegant atmosphere using minimal makeup and white or neutral-toned clothing. From black-and-white covers highlighting classical beauty to scenes creating a mysterious mood while lying on a bed, she reveals diverse charms through restrained direction.

The discussion regarding 'Moving' Season 2 in the interview drew as much interest as the pictorial itself. Based on the webtoon of the same name by Kang Full, 'Moving' tells the story of children hiding superpowers and their parents who harbor painful secrets. Season 2 will follow the characters who have returned to daily life after the events at Jeongwon High School, as they once again unite their powers to protect their loved ones against new crises.
For Go Youn-jung, participating in a sequel was a challenge that could not be described by joy alone. "Knowing that the process of planning and producing a sequel is not easy even if the work is successful, I did not want to disappoint anyone," she stated. This signifies that she felt both expectation and pressure due to the immense love the previous work received. It appears she felt a significant sense of responsibility as an actor to re-port a character who has already left a strong impression on the public.
Her confession regarding the moment she faced the character Jang Hui-su again was particularly striking. "Actually, before filming, I was worried that I might not be able to vividly portray Hui-su, but it was amazing how my body remembered her," Go Youn-jung said. Although she thought she would have to mentally revisit the character and revive her acting instincts, the movements and emotions of the character she had previously embodied returned naturally once filming commenced.
For an actor, a character does not remain solely within the sentences of a script or in memory; through repeated practice and filming, it accumulates in gestures, facial expressions, and emotional responses. Go Youn-jung's expression that "my body remembers Hui-su" demonstrates how deeply the character of Jang Hui-su remains within her. She added, "Above all, my heart felt overwhelmed to reunite with the seniors and fellow actors who were with me on 'Moving'," and "I thought that I hoped this work would continue." The reunion with those who created the work together has heightened expectations for Season 2.
Go Youn-jung is maintaining an active presence, following her lead roles in this year's 'Can This Love Be Translated?' and 'We Are All Trying Here' with the filming of 'Moving' Season 2. Even as she expands her presence as an actor through consecutive works, she emphasized that self-confidence is not completed all at once. "Self-confidence does not arise overnight. It is something you can feel only when the fleeting moments of believing in yourself are accumulated one by one," she explained.
Humility and prudence were also evident in her attitude toward acting. When asked about what she still feels she is learning even in her seventh year since debut, Go Youn-jung replied, "In acting, it feels like no matter what I learn or come to know, other gaps keep appearing as I fill them." She continued, "Perhaps even when I am seventy years old, the gaps will still remain. The moment where I think I have perfectly understood acting will never come." This implies that as experience accumulates, one does not learn everything but instead faces even more questions.
Having debuted in the 2019 tvN drama 'He Is Psychometric', Go Youn-jung has steadily built her filmography through works such as 'Sweet Home', 'Law School', 'Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow', and the movie 'Hunt'. She left a particularly strong impression on the public through her role as Jang Hui-su in 'Moving'. While she has returned as an actress responsible for a sequel to a successful work, her gaze is already set on the next stage of growth. With the Jang Hui-su her body remembers, the colleagues she has reunited with, and the acting gaps she still needs to fill, anticipation is building for the transformation Go Youn-jung will show in 'Moving' Season 2.
