Lee Ha Yi faces scrutiny as seats remain for first solo concert in 13 years

Singer Lee Ha Yi's upcoming solo concert shows remaining seats despite initial sell-out reports, following her recent relationship news with Dok2.

Singer Lee Ha Yi is preparing for her first solo concert in 13 years, but an unexpected situation has arisen. As remaining seats have appeared for a performance that was initially reported as sold out, attention is shifting to how much interest will be gathered for her long-awaited stage.

Lee Hi: Successful Romance with Dok2, but Uncertain About Music Career

Lee Ha Yi will hold the 'LEEHI SOLO CONCERT' on the 3rd of next month at 6 PM at the NOL Theater Hapjeong Dongyang Life Hall in Mapo District, Seoul. Although news of a complete sell-out was initially reported, the reservation status released on the 26th showed empty seats scattered throughout the Standing A and B sections.

While additional seats were opened on the 23rd, a total of 65 seats remained based on the seating chart. It appears that remaining seats have reappeared for the previously sold-out show because the sale of additional seats did not proceed as quickly as expected, combined with seats that became available due to cancellations.

The meaning of this concert for Lee Ha Yi is special. Approximately 13 years after holding her first solo concert 'RE-HI' at Sogang University Mary Hall Grand Theater in May 2013, she is stepping onto a solo concert stage with her name prominently featured. Although she held a solo performance in 2019, it was different in significance from this stage as it was one installment of a relay concert series.

It is also noteworthy that her recent performance activities have not been smooth. Lee Ha Yi experienced the total cancellation of a world tour that was scheduled for last August. Her agency, 808 HI RECORDINGS, stated at the time that they would proceed with legal action, claiming that the tour organizer failed to make payments and prepare for the performances properly.

Furthermore, after admitting to her relationship with rapper Dok2 in March this year, the two established a joint label and released the duet song 'You & Me,' bringing both Lee Ha Yi's private life and musical activities into the spotlight. This time, however, the focus is on the stage itself rather than just the buzz surrounding her personal life.

Lee Ha Yi made a name for herself through SBS 'K-pop Star' Season 2 and made her official debut in 2012 with '1, 2, 3, 4.' Since then, she has built a distinct soul and R&B identity with songs such as 'Sigh,' 'Rose,' 'Hold My Hand,' 'My Love,' 'Scarecrow,' and 'MY STAR.' Attention is focused on whether Lee Ha Yi can prove her musical presence once again at this solo concert, returning after 13 years.
