Singer Lee Hyo-ri has revealed a busy daily life balancing the operation of her yoga studio with preparations for a full group comeback of Fin.K.L. While she continues her life as a glamorous stage star and a yoga studio director, the monthly reality of paying taxes remains a persistent concern. Her candid confession that she even borrows reading glasses to pay her taxes drew laughter.
Appearing on the "Hyori Intermittently" segment of MBC FM4U's "A Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon" broadcast on the 20th, Lee shared her recent status. Preparing for the Fin.K.L full group comeback, she stated, "I am practicing a lot," adding, "Since I am balancing yoga classes with practice, I am moving without rest from 5 a.m. until the afternoon."
The process of preparing for the stage with her members after a long time is physically demanding, but it holds special meaning for Lee. Reflecting on the time they each spent on different paths, she said, "There were times we lived apart, and we each engaged in activities outside of music life." Lee Jin lived in the United States and took a break from the entertainment industry, while Sung Yu-ri also had a relatively long hiatus. Although Lee Hyo-ri has been active steadily, she confessed she felt pressure as it has been a long time since she sang and danced.
However, once the four members gathered, emotions different from what she expected emerged. Lee recalled, "Once the four of us gathered, it felt like we had returned to our twenties." Although she thought she had become more mature through marriage, yoga, and volunteer work, she noted that her playful side naturally resurfaced upon meeting her old friends.
She brought laughter by saying, "I even start acting like an elementary school student." She added, "I am grateful because there are not many situations where I can feel this way." She explained that while she tries to maintain composure and appear as someone who manages their mind well when conducting yoga classes to meet students, her tension releases when she goes to Fin.K.L practice, revealing a completely different side. Her calm daily life as a yoga studio director contrasted with the innocent side she shows before her longtime colleagues.
Lee also answered honestly regarding questions about the life of a small business owner. "Since I have other occupations, it is hard to fully understand the hearts of small business owners," she said, but confessed, "Paying (taxes) every month is a headache." In particular, she drew laughter by sharing the practical hardship, saying, "My eyesight isn't great lately, so I am borrowing Lee Sang-soon's reading glasses to pay them."
Lee Hyo-ri's day is packed with singer activities, yoga classes, and Fin.K.L comeback practice. While she still shows an unrivaled presence on stage, her life carries common worries like paying taxes, adding a sense of relatability. Her confession of regaining her past self alongside the Fin.K.L members gathered after a long time is also increasing expectations from fans waiting for this comeback.
