Singer Song Ga-in issued a stern eviction notice to a disruptive, intoxicated individual during the 11th Gangjin Bay Dancing Reeds Festival on the 25th. After initially attempting to soothe the person with humor, the singer eventually demanded their departure to prevent further discomfort for the audience.

Singer Song Ga-in issued a firm warning to an intoxicated audience member who repeatedly caused disturbances during a performance. While she initially attempted to calm the individual with jokes, she eventually responded sternly by demanding their removal as the commotion failed to subside. The scene, which showed her raising her voice unlike her typically relaxed stage presence, has drawn criticism toward the audience member for ignoring concert etiquette.
A video capturing Song Ga-in restraining a disruptive audience member has spread across online communities and social media. One netizen shared the video with the caption, "My singer threatening to tie [him] to a pillar." The footage shows Song Ga-in stepping in to resolve the issue to prevent discomfort for the singer and other audience members who had come to enjoy the performance.
The incident occurred during a stage at the 11th Gangjin Bay Dancing Reeds Festival held on the 25th. After thanking the audience for attending despite the rainy weather, Song Ga-in attempted to lift the mood with her prepared songs. However, the atmosphere began to break as an audience member, who appeared heavily intoxicated, caused discomfort not only to those nearby but also to Song Ga-in while she was singing.
Observing the situation from the stage, Song Ga-in initially tried to soothe the audience member with humor rather than being confrontational. She addressed the individual, saying, "Father, please be quiet. How much alcohol did you drink? It is a festival today." She then attempted to shift the mood by asking, "Have I lost too much weight? Am I prettier?" before adding, "I know you are in a good mood, but you must not cause harm to others." She also noted that due to the rain, people should not jump excessively or cause a disturbance.
However, the intoxicated individual did not calm down easily. When the person continued the commotion, asking to be called "Oppa" instead of "Father," Song Ga-in warned, "You must sit still. Do not throw your clothes. If you do this one more time, I will come after you." She still attempted to manage the situation with humor, saying, "You are doing this because you like it, but your expression is too violent. Please calm down. Even if Ga-in is that pretty, please calm down."
As the disturbances continued, Song Ga-in's response became increasingly firm. She drew a clear line, stating, "If you do this one more time, you must leave. This is an eviction notice," and later shouted, "Sit down!" to restrain the individual. When the person remained unrepentant, she demanded their departure, saying, "Put your clothes over there. Leave quickly. Your clothes are over there. I put them there," while repeatedly emphasizing, "You must not do that."
Once the commotion subsided briefly, Song Ga-in expressed her gratitude to the audience members who remained in their seats. She also acknowledged the hard work of the safety personnel on-site, telling the crowd, "Please give a round of applause to the organizers' security and the police." Her actions were aimed at minimizing discomfort for the audience and restoring the festival atmosphere. Song Ga-in then continued her prepared songs and proceeded with the stage normally.
However, the intoxicated person's disruptions resumed. Appearing unable to tolerate the behavior any longer, Song Ga-in sternly rebuked the individual, saying, "Be quiet. I told you not to cause harm to others. Stay still. Before I tie you to the bars." She followed this by demanding they "shut your mouth" to stop the repeated behavior. While she initially tried to resolve the situation with laughter and jokes, it appears she could no longer overlook it as the disruption affected other audience members.
Netizens who viewed the video reacted by criticizing the behavior of those who interfere with others' viewing experiences at performances. Some opinions suggested that "people should be taught manners before being allowed entry," while others sympathized with the singer, noting, "Song Ga-in, who is famous for her good personality, must have been so angry to act that way. She finally snapped after enduring it." While attention has focused on the unexpected situation during the performance, the core issue remains the basic concert etiquette of respecting both the stage and the audience.
Song Ga-in, who debuted in 2012, became the first "Jin" (winner) after winning TV CHOSUN's "Miss Trot" in 2019. Since then, she has been loved by the public for her solid vocal skills and friendly charm, maintaining active career through various performances and broadcasts. This time, it was her firm warning on stage, rather than her singing, that became a hot topic. As the consideration for the audience and the restraint of disruptive behavior are separate matters, the importance of a mature viewing culture that maintains order at venues is being highlighted once again.
