'The Ordinary Jackpot' is rapidly ramping up the tension ahead of the final showdown that will decide the fate of Hongseong. Gong Eun-tae (Lee Joon-hyuk), who did not leave his company even after seizing the greatest luck of his life—winning the first prize in the lottery—now sits at a negotiation table, not for his own life, but to protect his colleagues and the future of the company. With the formidable negotiation opponent Martina (Yoon Se-ah) sitting across from him, intense tension is added to the final story.

Ahead of the release of the final episodes 9 and 10, the TVING original 'The Ordinary Jackpot' released stills capturing the final appearance of Hongseong Sales Team 5. In the previous episodes 7 and 8, Gong Eun-tae found a new breakthrough to protect Hongseong, foreshadowing a full-scale confrontation with Jeong Seon-hyeok (Oh Dae-hwan). If he had only thought of his own safety, it was a fight he didn't necessarily have to undertake, but Gong Eun-tae has once again made a dangerous choice for the sake of the organization and the people he belongs to.

The person who appears in this process is Martina. Standing in a position to decide the direction of Hongseong, Martina is a person whom Gong Eun-tae and Yang Jun-ho (Seo Hyun-woo) must persuade. In the released stills, the two are sitting across from Martina engaged in negotiations. While Gong Eun-tae maintains as calm an expression as possible, the intense tension is readable in the way he unconsciously touches his hands. Sitting next to him, Yang Jun-ho also observes the opponent's expression and does not easily reveal his inner thoughts.

On the other hand, Martina's attitude is completely different. Despite it being a crucial negotiation where the fate of Hongseong hangs in the balance, she maintains a relatively relaxed expression and exudes an atmosphere as if she is leading the situation. Since the future of Hongseong is likely to change depending on who takes the initiative in this negotiation, the biggest point of interest for the final episode will be what kind of answer Gong Eun-tae and Yang Jun-ho can draw from Martina.

In particular, signs of change have also been detected in the relationship between Gong Eun-tae and Jeong Seon-hyeok. Until now, the two have stood in tight opposition, making different choices regarding Hongseong. Jeong Seon-hyeok prioritized organizational logic and realistic judgment, while Gong Eun-tae stood against him to protect Hongseong in the way he believed was right. As it was a structure where their values clashed beyond a simple difference of opinion, attention is focused on what kind of conclusion their conflict will lead to.

However, in the newly released scene, the atmosphere has changed. Gong Eun-tae and Jeong Seon-hyeok, who were sharpening their edges against each other, are showing calm smiles, unlike before. Whether the two have finally come to look in the same direction, or whether they have briefly let down their guard ahead of the final showdown, has not yet been revealed. However, considering the weight of the conflict accumulated so far, this change in their expressions is read as a scene implying a change in their relationship that will occur in the final episode.

The final commuting scene of Sales Team 5 is also meaningful. Beside Gong Eun-tae, who used to start his day by commuting alone earlier than anyone else, are now Yang Jun-ho, Park Gi-tae (Hong Jin-gi), Lee Ji-hye (Ha Yully), and Jang Hyang-eun (Baek Ye-in). In that these people, who initially endured company life in their own circumstances and ways, eventually changed by influencing each other, the story of Sales Team 5 has progressed in tandem with the personal change of Gong Eun-tae.

Above all, the question that was the starting point of this work remains until the end. It seems like anyone would choose to leave the company and select a new life if they obtained the tremendous luck of winning the first prize in the lottery, but Gong Eun-tae instead chose the path of continuing to go to work. After becoming free from money, why did he return to the space of the workplace? And what did Gong Eun-tae actually gain through the daily repeated commuting and relationships with people?

Ultimately, the final story is expected to be a process of showing what Gong Eun-tae realized and what kind of person he became through his commuting so far, beyond the issue of protecting Hongseong. Attention is also focused on what kind of answer the work, which started with the setting of winning the first prize in the lottery and unraveled the life of an ordinary office worker and relationships within an organization, will provide to the question, 'Can anything be solved if you have money?' at the end.

The production team stated that the final negotiation involving the fate of Hongseong and the final story of Sales Team 5 will unfold in episodes 9 and 10, and asked viewers to watch what Gong Eun-tae has gained through his intense commuting. Whether the reins of negotiation held by Martina, played by Yoon Se-ah, will pass to someone else, and what choices Lee Joon-hyuk and Seo Hyun-woo will make at the last moment, is expected to determine the tension of the conclusion.

Episodes 9 and 10 of 'The Ordinary Jackpot' will be pre-released on TVING at 6 PM on the 8th. On tvN, they will be broadcast one episode each at 9 PM on the 12th and 13th.
