Musical actors Kim Yi-hoo and Kim Tae-o to wed on August 8

Musical actors Kim Yi-hoo (born Kim Ji-hye) and Kim Tae-o (born Kim Tae-sik) are set to tie the knot. Having nurtured their dreams on the same stage, the two will hold their wedding ceremony on August 8, opening a new chapter in their lives.

Kim personally shared the news of her marriage via SNS on the 4th.

“I am happy to share with all of you, who have always watched over me with affection, that I have met a reliable companion to walk through time with,” she stated. “We will stand side-by-side on the stage of this long performance called life, living our lives while making each other shine.”

She expressed her gratitude, adding, “I will continue to dream and never stop adventuring. It would be an incomparable joy if you could bless our fluttering first steps with warm hearts.”

The groom-to-be, Kim, also shared his sincere thoughts via his account on the same day.

“On August 8, I am marrying the person I want to share my life with,” he revealed. “I am still clumsy and have much to learn, but it feels truly reassuring and grateful to know that I am no longer alone and now have someone to walk with.”

He added a touching sentiment, saying, “Lately, I am starting to see not only my life as an actor but also the life of the person named Kim Tae-sik. Kim debuted in the 2016 musical 'The Cigarette Shop Lady' and has steadily built a solid filmography through various works including 'Tomorrow Morning', 'Beauty', 'Grease', 'Mamma Mia!', and 'Sisyphus'.
