Girl's Day Park So-jin's husband Lee Dong-ha renounced Italian citizenship to serve in military

The exemplary background of Manager Nam, the cold-hearted character in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated,' is drawing attention.

It has been revealed that actor Lee Dong-ha, husband of Girl's Day member Park So-jin, was born in Italy and lived there until the age of 3. Despite being able to avoid military service by choosing Italian citizenship as a dual citizen, he renounced his Italian citizenship to fulfill his military service.

The gentle daily life of Lee, which is the complete opposite of his intimidating persona in 'Agent Kim Reactivated,' provides another twist. On the 11th, Park posted a photo of Lee on her SNS, writing, "Refreshing Manager Nam. Teddy bear Manager Nam. Pajama Manager Nam. I'm rooting for you. Expecting much today."

The two are seen standing close together and smiling affectionately, a stark contrast to the ruthless Manager Nam in 'Agent Kim Reactivated.'

In 'Agent Kim Reactivated,' Lee plays Manager Nam, the chief secretary to Joo Gang-chan (Joo Sang-wook). He is a character who maximizes the drama's tension by executing any command given by Joo.

In 2016, Lee revealed on SBS Power FM's 'Cultwo Show' that he was born in Italy. When the DJ asked why he renounced his Italian citizenship, he replied, "I renounced my Italian citizenship to go to the military."

He further explained, "My parents are Korean, and there was no reason for me to go and live in Italy, so I gave it up."

Regarding his background, he stated that he was born in Italy while his parents were studying abroad and lived there until he was 3 years old.

He married Park in 2023.
