Han Groo Shocked by Fruit Prices: 'Watermelons in Cheongdam-dong are Over 30,000 Won, but Half Price at Gyeongdong Market'
Actress Han Groo shares her surprise at the massive price difference between her neighborhood in Gangnam and Gyeongdong Market during a recent YouTube visit.
Actress Han Groo, who lives in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, was left speechless by the fruit prices being nearly half the cost after visiting Gyeongdong Market in Dongdaemun-gu.

A video titled '15 Minutes from Gangnam! I visited Gyeongdong Market because of the fruit' was recently uploaded to Han Groo's YouTube channel.
Residing in Cheongdam-dong, she visited Gyeongdong Market with an acquaintance. She expressed her anticipation, saying, "I came because I heard the fruit is really good."
After finishing a meal, she set out for serious grocery shopping and purchased various fruits including mangoes, bananas, dragon fruit, Korean melon, and watermelon. She repeatedly expressed admiration at the low prices.
She remarked, "There is no need to haggle here. It is so cheap."
She expressed her surprise, stating, "An 8kg black watermelon is around 16,000 to 17,000 won, but in the neighborhood where I live, it is over 30,000 won. In fact, at one fruit shop, it costs about 32,000 won."
She also expressed great satisfaction, saying, "Actually, fruit is so expensive in my neighborhood that I can't buy it often, but this place is close to Gangnam and the prices are great, so it's wonderful."
Han Groo married a non-celebrity nine years her senior in 2015, but after divorcing in 2022, she is raising her twins alone.
