Jeong Eun-pyo's unique self-care: using mouth tape on KTX
Actor Jeong Eun-pyo reveals his meticulous travel routine, including using mouth tape on the KTX to maintain peak condition for his lectures.
Actor Jeong Eun-pyo is drawing attention once again by revealing his thorough self-management and lifestyle habits. His efforts to build a personal routine to maintain peak condition despite frequent long-distance travel for lectures have garnered interest as an example of a life attitude that values consistency and sincerity, going beyond a simple disclosure of daily life.

In particular, Jeong's story about using mouth tape on the KTX and even purchasing a new sleep eye mask has caused a stir with its unexpected detail. His habit of managing even seemingly minor lifestyle details offers a glimpse into the driving force behind his long career as an actor and lecturer.
On the 24th, Jeong revealed his personal travel routine and essential items through his social media (SNS), noting that he frequently uses the KTX for lectures in provincial areas.
"Since I often travel to the provinces by KTX for lectures, my routines and items keep increasing," he stated. "I have certain things I prepare to maintain my condition during long-distance travel."
He went on to introduce the items he carries one by one. From pink slippers received from an ice cream purchase event to a large-capacity tumbler prepared in hopes that caffeine might help, as well as a power bank, toothpaste, toothbrush, and earphones, he shared that he meticulously prepares everything needed for long journeys.
The most eye-catching item was the 'mouth tape.' Jeong explained, "My wife told me that I open my mouth when I sleep on the train, so I carry mouth tape as well." In the released photo, he drew laughter by showing himself actually using the product while boarding the KTX.
A small habit stemming from his wife's meticulous observation has become a special management method for long-distance travel. Preparing even a product used to reduce mouth breathing during sleep is somewhat unique, yet it demonstrates Jeong's characteristic sincerity in managing his physical condition in detail.
Recently, a culture of self-management that goes beyond simply 'working hard' to consider one's own physical rhythm and energy management has been spreading. Especially for professions that stand before the public, such as celebrities and lecturers, adjusting one's condition is a crucial factor directly linked to professional capability. Jeong's routine can be seen as one facet of this modern approach to self-management.
"I finally even purchased a comfortable sleep eye mask," he said. "Now, I just need to do well with my lectures."
He also shared the enthusiastic response from a recent lecture. Jeong expressed his gratitude, saying, "For yesterday's lecture in Naju, I was initially informed that there would be about 70 to 100 people, but nearly 400 people showed up."
He added with a humble attitude, "I don't know how much the lecture will help, but I hope it was even a little bit enjoyable and helpful."
Jeong has consistently communicated with the public not only through his acting but also through stories about child education and his family. In particular, he drew attention with the title 'Seoul National University Parent' when his eldest son, Jeong Ji-woong, entered Seoul National University. However, Jeong is gaining public empathy by emphasizing family communication and steady effort over academic background or results.
Married to Kim Ha-yan in 2002, Jeong has two sons and one daughter. Having moved between the stage and the screen for a long time as an actor, he is now expanding his field of activity as a lecturer, sharing his own experiences and philosophy with the public. His meticulous travel routine is ultimately interpreted as another form of self-management to create better encounters and performances.
