Actors Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si Eun have revealed their adopted daughter, who bears a striking resemblance to them.
On the 1st, SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny' released a video titled 'Jin Tae-hyun × Park Si Eun, beaming with pride as they boast of their next-generation prospect daughter who achieved a consecutive podium finish.'
Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si Eun visited the venue where their daughter, who is active as a marathoner, was competing. After meeting their daughter for the first time in a month, the two shared a warm embrace.
During this process, the daughter's appearance drew significant attention as she looks very much like Park Si Eun. Watching this in the studio, Kim Gu Ra expressed surprise, saying, "She looks like Park Si Eun." Other panelists also exclaimed, "She looks exactly the same."
In an interview with the production team, Jin Tae-hyun introduced their daughter, an active marathoner, saying, "It was already the year before last. In 2024, we gained a new family member."
He continued with pride, saying, "I feel like a doting father, so it's hard to say it myself, but she reached the podium in a marathon competition this year. Just three weeks later, she took 3rd place in another major competition. She is a next-generation prospect. Our Ji-hye's dream is to be a national representative marathoner."
Park Si Eun explained the reason for the adoption, stating, "She has biological parents, but since they are not in contact, I thought it would be good to become another home for her."
Since marrying in 2015, Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si Eun have drawn attention by adopting adult children one after another. The couple announced the adoption of their first daughter four years after marriage, and last year, they announced the adoption of two more, saying, "We have gained wonderful adopted daughters. One is an elite marathoner affiliated with the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, and the other is a prospective nurse preparing to work in Jeju."
