Actress Kim Jung-nan sighed over the unexpectedly high costs of preparing for a large-scale remodeling project ahead of her move in October. As she revealed her plan to sell her current residence at a relatively low price and completely renovate her new home, her realistic concerns regarding the stresses of moving and residential life are drawing public attention.

On the 31st, Kim shared her moving preparations and remodeling plans through a video uploaded to her YouTube channel. The video captures her organizing items throughout her house and disposing of unnecessary belongings in anticipation of the October move.

While organizing clothes and other items, she said, "I'm trying to give things away to someone if they are useful, or throw them away if they aren't. I'm in the middle of organizing."

During the process of sorting through household items accumulated over a long period, she also candidly expressed the fatigue associated with moving. "I watched a celebrity's YouTube video, and they said the number one most stressful thing in the world is the death of a spouse, and number two is moving," Kim remarked. "Moving is hard. I have moved countless times."

She explained that she is experiencing the true nature of moving—not just a physical process of changing locations, but a task that requires categorizing the traces of a life accumulated over a long time and reorganizing one's lifestyle to fit a new space.

In particular, the biggest burden arising from this move was the remodeling cost for the new house. Kim revealed that while discussing the scope of work with an interior design company, the budget increased significantly more than originally expected.

"The budget has increased tremendously. This is my first time doing such a large-scale remodeling," she said. "Since I'm doing it, I want to make every corner beautiful, but it costs too much money."

She was essentially describing a situation where the scope of construction expands and costs rise sharply as she adds desired spaces and designs one by one.

Ultimately, Kim drew laughter when she said, "My stocks need to go up, right? Let's pray. It's painful."
