Kim Hye-eun reveals her 6 billion won penthouse and maximalist lifestyle

Actress Kim Hye-eun caught the public's attention by revealing her penthouse, which boasts wide-open views, and showcasing her maximalist lifestyle.

On the 15th, a video titled '※Real Home Reveal of Maximalist Kim Hye-eun, rivaling a duty-free shop※' was posted on Kim's YouTube channel.

The home revealed that day captured attention with its spacious living room, garden, and refreshing views. The luxurious interior and classic furniture also drew eyes.

Regarding the furniture in the living room, Kim explained, "It was a small chest and a mother-of-pearl lacquer wardrobe that my husband's grandfather used, and we used to live with them exactly as they were." She added, "When we remodeled five years ago, it was difficult to utilize the space, so we reformed them into console shapes. Thinking about it now, it feels like a waste to have discarded the original look, but the reforming costs were also quite significant."

She then revealed her daughter's room. Regarding the reason for installing a unique door without a handle, she said, "I made it because my daughter wanted it." She drew laughter by adding, "As a tip for parents with children in puberty, I made it so the door can be locked from the inside, but there is a gap in the door so you can see in to some extent from the outside. Since friends are the most important thing for children at this stage, it naturally allows parents to check in."

The dressing room also clearly showcased Kim's signature 'maximalism.' After revealing the space filled with numerous outfits and accessories, she also introduced the annual bazaar she holds.

Kim stated, "I hold a bazaar once a year to help single-parent families. Last year, the proceeds alone exceeded 18,000,000 won. This is already the sixth time, and now people even 'open run' (line up before opening). Local residents wait in line for it."

Additionally, a private practice room for script rehearsal was prepared inside the house.

Kim explained, "I have a lot of scripts to memorize and tend to stay up late. Since my husband's profession involves surgeries and he needs sufficient sleep, I created a separate practice space."

In one corner of the practice room, various cosmetics and beauty devices were densely displayed. Mentioning that she usually puts a lot of effort into skincare, she introduced the home care device she frequently uses, saying, "Even if I get Ultherapy or Thermage, the effects didn't last long. After getting them several times, I felt the cost was a waste."

She continued, "Instead, using this device at home consistently for about two weeks gave me higher satisfaction personally. However, I have to do it every day," sharing her personal management secret, "Even on days when I am tired, I try to at least put on a facial mask before going to sleep."
