Actress Yura, formerly of the girl group Girl's Day, revealed on the 22nd via her YouTube channel 'Yura Yura Hae' that she has struggled with sudden changes in her weight.

Girl's Day Yura reveals 8kg weight gain in 2 months

Recalling the filming of the movie 'The Glory of Family: Returns,' Yura said, "I maintained a weight of 47kg for four years, but while filming that movie, I drank every day, and I gained 8kg in just two months."

Kim Hee-jung asked Yura, who is 170cm tall, "Isn't 56kg normal for your height?" Yura replied, "It was the first time in my life I had seen that weight on the scale. I had never gone above 54kg before. After filming that movie, I hit 56kg due to a 'drinking belly' for the first time, so I desperately stopped eating and lost it back down to 47kg immediately," explaining how difficult it was.

She continued, "But because I stopped drinking entirely and barely ate to lose it, my cheeks suddenly hollowed out and I looked much older. Losing weight when you're young is different from losing weight as you age," admitting that she has grown older.

She confessed, "So I gained weight again. Once I got back up to 50kg, my face looked a bit better. Even so, people still say I look too thin and ask, 'Are you sick? Shouldn't you get a health checkup?'"
