Singer Seo In-young recently visited her family's food factory to experience the production site firsthand. The visit drew significant attention as her father shared the story of building his business and his unique philosophy regarding inheritance for his children.
On the 8th, a video titled "First Reveal of Seo In-young's Biological Father's Sausage Factory (+Whole Family Appearance, Inheritance)" was released on the YouTube channel 'Gaegwacheonseon Seo In-young'.
During the visit, Seo toured the factory operated by her parents and participated directly in the production process. After preparing for the task—which included removing her glamorous nail art to comply with hygiene regulations—she lent a hand by assisting with tortilla production and packaging.
Inside the factory, a pink office prepared by her father specifically for his daughter caught the eye. The office displayed Seo's albums, books, and various souvenirs, offering a glimpse into the family's affection.
The broadcast revealed that Seo's father is the CEO of a food company specializing in processed meat products and tortillas. The factory produces sausages, meat products for kebabs, and tortillas, and Seo experienced her family's livelihood by participating in everything from manufacturing to packaging.
During a meal, the family shared the journey of how the business was established. Seo's mother recalled that while they previously operated businesses in Gimhae and Daegu, they suffered significant losses during the IMF financial crisis due to joint guarantees, which led to severe hardships.
While searching for a new breakthrough, they learned that kebabs were gaining popularity in Europe as a healthy food option and decided to introduce the concept to Korea. They shared an anecdote explaining that because the price of imported equipment was excessively high, they developed their own machinery, successfully achieved in-house production, and even applied for a patent. The family added that they pioneered the market by introducing Korea's first kebab grill.
Most notably, the father's view on inheritance drew attention. When the production team asked, "Which of your two daughters do you intend to pass the factory to?", he firmly replied, "I won't pass it to either of them."
He continued, "I have already given all the inheritance," before expressing his conviction: "I passed on my faith. There is no inheritance more precious than that. An inheritance left in money can actually be poison to children."
Furthermore, when asked who the owner of the factory is, he replied, "It belongs to God," sharing a management philosophy centered on faith.
Meanwhile, Seo recently shared photos taken with her family, showing a harmonious daily life with her father, stepmother, and younger sister. At that time, her younger sister's striking beauty drew attention, recalling her introduction as the 'Jamsil Ulzzang' during an appearance on KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together'.
Seo also spoke of her special bond with her sister, revealing on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' that her sister stayed by her side and provided great strength during her difficult times struggling with depression, panic disorder, paralysis, and convulsions. Recently, she shared that her sister moved near her house, and the two are currently relying on each other.
Seo is preparing for a new beginning as she approaches remarriage to Choi Ji-hoon, the CEO of the content creative company NP, in the second half of this year.
