After School's Lizzy spotted in Gapyeong with Choi Yeo-jin

Lizzy, an actress and former member of After School, has shared glimpses of her relaxed daily life in Gapyeong. Following a hiatus of approximately four years after her drunk driving accident, she has resumed her activities in the entertainment industry, drawing attention with a healthy appearance maintained through water sports.

On the 12th, Lizzy posted several photos on her SNS with the short caption, "Wise Gapyeong Life."

The released photos capture Lizzy spending time at a swimming pool in Gapyeong. In particular, her enjoyment of water activities with actress Choi Yeo-jin caught the eye, sparking interest in the friendship between the two. Lizzy was seen looking at the camera with a natural look, wearing little to no makeup, while showcasing a toned physique built through swimming and surfing.

Lizzy's recent activities are garnering attention because she has been continuing her career relatively quietly since her return to the entertainment industry.

Having debuted as a member of After School in 2010, Lizzy expanded her career from singing to acting. She worked as an actress, appearing in tvN dramas such as "Ugly Miss Young-ae" and "Oh My Baby."

However, she suspended her activities in 2021 due to a drunk driving accident. At the time, Lizzy struck a taxi ahead of her while driving under the influence near the southern end of Yeongdong Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Her blood alcohol concentration at the time of the accident was 0.08%, which is at the level of license revocation; she subsequently admitted to the drunk driving and issued an official apology.

After halting her activities for about four years, Lizzy officially resumed her entertainment career last May by holding her first solo fan-meeting in Tokyo, Japan.

This time, she communicated with fans by revealing her everyday life in Gapyeong rather than through broadcasts or official events. Given the long hiatus following the past controversy, her recent natural updates are being viewed as a reflection of her current path.

Choi Yeo-jin has been living primarily in Gapyeong after marrying businessman Kim Jae-wook, who operates a water ski resort in Gapyeong, last June. As news spread that Lizzy visited the swimming pool with Choi, the unexpected friendship between the two is also drawing interest.
